First edition, first printing (contains required 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 number sequence). An excellent debut novel by an author who has been likened to Terry Pratchett by many reviewers. Part 1 of "The Illmor Chronicles", this copy is signed directly onto the title page by the author. Definitely one to watch - the incredible amount of press coverage alone in the UK mainstream newspapers etc is fairly unique for a first novel - partly due to the story behind how the author wrote the book over many years, then gave up on it and threw it in the bin - only for his mother to retrieve it and post it to the legendary Douglas Adams.......the rest, as they say, is history!
